I also realize that some might misinterpret me...please try to understand before you attack my views.
*Dogma (the plural is either dogmata or dogmas) is the established belief or doctrine held by a religion, ideology or any kind of organization to be authoritative and not to be disputed or doubted.
*Dogmata are found in many religions such as Christianity and Islam, where they are considered core principles that must be upheld by all followers of that religion.Rejection of dogma is considered heresy and may lead to expulsion from the religious group, although in the Christian Gospels this is not done rashly.
Y'all know I came to usher in the New World Order, right? I am a non-conformist and I intend on living my life in today's standards with dignity and pride.
I had this conversation about faith and dogmata on a plane ride back from Germany and then I still had to share my thoughts with a fellow Queen. I was bombarded by some people who claim to be Rasta and/or Christian but were trying to tear me down as a woman and criticize me and trying to impose an "old school system" on me. When I say "old school system" I mean dogma.
I was kind of upset about that but then I thought...well that happens in everyday life so why should I let them affect me?!
I love the RASTA lifestyle and I feel it is for me...however, I am here to assist in ushering in the New World Order...and what that means is that we have to live in today's time and yes, kings are the bread winner and they are here to protect us but they will not put us behind or under them. We are equal and if I do not want to cover myself from head to toe then that does not make me less zealous than the woman who does. My body is beautiful and Jah makes no mistakes! All queens everywhere are a work of beauty and we should not be ashamed of that. I am not here to disparage the Rasta way or shame Chrisitans...nor am I someone claiming to be righteous and yet wanting permission to dress in the least amount of clothes possible. But the fact that I have my hair out while enjoying myself at a park does not make me less virtuous..nor does wearing shorts on a hot summer day in the south.
Like I said, I am a non-conformist and I come to bring the New World Order. People get ready! Better get on the damn train or you will be left behind!
Dogmata outside of Religion and in Life:
*The term dogmatism carries the implication that people are upholding their beliefs in an
unthinking and conformist fashion.
In my opinion, dogmatism is truly the opposite of Enlightenment. It has no place in our hearts, minds and spirits and we must rid ourselves of it. It is believing something to be true simply because someone told you and without asking questions, you accept it. It is how Americans live their lives everyday! Take 9/11, for example, and how "patriotic" everyone became after this tragedy. If you think as an American that our biggest terrorists are foreign...THINK AGAIN. Your worst fears are home grown. We were so gung ho about going into war to "free the Iraqi people" just because our government told us this is what we should do...I don't even want to go in to the fact that we are not even free in our own land and yet our government is going to free others...
But it doesn't stop there...If I was to yield to dogmata, I would would continue to being unpaid and mistreated simply becuase I am a young, black female in the working force here in the South. Yielding to dogmata means that people like me would not even exist because interracial dating and marriages are supposedly amoral. Yielding to dogmata means taking a friend's advice when I informed her that I wanted a job that allowed me to see the world after I finished college and her response was marry a soldier in the US Army...Not even going to begin to point out the blantant bullshit in that statement....
Dogmata has no place in the New World Order...it doesn't afford us the civial liberties that we are entitled to as Jah's creation. It goes against the grain of progression and we must put a stop to the spread of such a disease.
So I ask those who are ready for peace and enlightenment to stand strong in battle with me. Get on the train or be left behind in the times with dogmata where it belongs.
One Love, One World y'all.
