You said you wanted it all...to see your name in the big lights....to hear thousands of people calling your name...you wanted to see your face on those commercials...yeah you wanted it all.
The fortune. The fame. Forget the price...you wanted it all....that's what you said.
Slowly but surely you began to abandon everything...first, your livelihood, then your religion...and soon after it was me being pushed out the door....
But then...after some lonely months of waiting in vain for my unreturned love...because you had fallen on harsh times and later realized that you may have pushed me out to soon....you slowly came trailing back....
I am a Queen of second chances so I offered my assistance in getting my fallen soldier back on his feet....only to find that he had indeed sold his soul to the leaders of this babylon system.
A king no more, there you stood before me a broken man...and yet you thought you were hiding....but the truth is...I saw you in your true state before you caught up with me. I had a vision of you, in trouble, searching in the dark for solacement...and yet you thought that I could be your saviour...
My dear, poor man...for I could not help you....no one could as you were lost. My words don't flow through your ears because you simply cannot face the truth. I had to leave you in that state....there was nothing I could do...you have fallen to the lowest...simply to do what you do....
You said you wanted it all. Well, was it worth losing me?
And now you come back...you say I hurt you now....I tell you that was not my intention. I want you to see that no one hurts you more than you hurt yourself.
I see all you now represent....and yet you want to come back now like the prodigal son....but deep down...I know you still want it all...you have not let go of that life.....but you have to let go of me.
Now, you want to come back....you don't see me happy with my King. You don't see the love I hold inside of me....
You're too busy trying to gain it all....
You say you want it all but was it worth loosing me?
